Since I was a child, I was inclined to art and music, though I was never outstanding in art forms like painting or music. But the love for music and art always remained alive deep down in me. When I started pursuing photography later, I immediately found myself attracted to this and took it as an outlet to my feelings. Since then the camera became my everyday companion. I attached with a Bengali quarterly magazine called ‘Sudhu Sunderban Charcha’ which works only on issues of Sunderbans and I am one of the two contributors of all image content of the magazine. My works are regularly published in the magazine. My works have also been exhibited in India and Bangladesh and published in a number of websites. To keep me and my family going, I run an engineering business and am based in Kolkata, India.
